Every week smiles galore can be seen at MN Flyers!   Becker County Energize was able to partner with MN Flyers to expand access to their program to provide physical education to special needs children and adults in Frazee & Lake Park/Audubon schools and the DAC in Detroit Lakes.   The program builds motor performance, physical ability, and functional independence, social skills and problem solving skills through weekly classes.   In the 2 years since its inception this program has tripled in size.  The program is continuing to grow throughout the area schools,  it is working to expanding to other nearby districts.  In addition, a new “Go Baby Grow Baby” class was piloted in partnership with Essentia Health and is being held at MN Flyers with a focus on mom and baby’s age 0-18 months (siblings are welcome to attend) to share and learn about baby development, nutrition, dental care and more!
